Flexible Spending Accounts

The District offers Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) that are administered through PayFlex. There are two types of FSAs available: a Healthcare Account and a Dependent Daycare Account. Both accounts allow you to set aside money for certain non-covered medical, dental, and/or vision expenses as well as dependent daycare expenses on a pretax basis.

FSA Open Enrollment

Employees MUST complete the ONLINE Open Enrollment process at during the annual Open Enrollment period (typically in October / November) if they wish to participate OR continue participation in the Healthcare or Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts for the plan year beginning January 1.

FSA Packets

The Flexible Spending Account Packet is published annually in October/November and is available only online.

Beginning for the 2019 plan year, FSA information will be included as part of the medical/dental/vision Insurance Benefits Packet.
