Parent Resources for Virtual Learning

The Parent Resources for Virtual Learning Guide has easy to follow videos and tutorials for the various platforms and programs students will utilize during virtual learning.  For information on these programs, please view the guide. 

OUSD teachers will utilize one of two platforms to communicate with students, SeeSaw or Google Classroom.  More detailed information on how to use these programs can be found in the Parent Resources for Virtual Learning Guide.  Stay connected with your student's classroom teacher(s) for specific assignments and curriculum information.

Technology Support for Families

Need help with technology?  Is your student's device broken?  The OUSD Service Desk is here to assist you.  Call 760-966-4444 between 7:30-4:00 Monday through Friday.

If you are in need of internet services the links below will connect you with local providers.  Many providers offer qualifying households that do not have internet, free and/or reduced price service. For details, check out these websites:

District Digital Programs

For those with access to a digital device, all of our district programs can be accessed through the OUSD Portal.

We have also provided directions on how to access Rapid ID from any device via OUSD website and directions on how to log in to Rapid ID / Cómo acceder al Portal de OUSD desde cualquier dispositivo y cómo ingresar


OUSD uses this system to send messages via text, phone and email.  Make sure you have your correct information in the Aeries portal to ensure consistent communication from teachers, schools and district.
