The Teacher Effectiveness and Support (T.E.S.) Program works to develop professional expertise for teachers at all stages of their career. The components of the T.E.S. program are:
Induction
In collaboration with SDCOE we support teachers as they work to clear their California teaching credentials. More information can be found on our Induction webpage.
Peer Assistance and Review
Consulting Teachers work with teachers who have received unsatisfactory evaluations. This component follows the guidelines outlined in the OTA/OUSD contract.
Student Teacher Placements
Working with our University Partners we place teacher candidates with qualified Oceanside Teachers.
Teachers with more than three years of teaching experience who would like to be a Master Teacher for a Student Teacher should contact Kristin Garrison, Human Resources Coordinator (kristin.garrison@oside.us)
