Welcome to Preschool

Oceanside Unified School District hosts six state funded preschool sites at Del Rio, Libby, Mission,  North Terrace, Santa Margarita and Stuart Mesa Elementary Schools. In order to participate in the program, parents of enrolled children must meet income eligibility requirements as determined by the California Department of Education. Children enrolled in the program must live in the Oceanside Unified School District boundaries and be four years old on/or before September 1, 2016.

Please do not register your preschool-aged child online.  You must fill out a preschool packet.

Registration Dates:  May 2nd - 31st 

State Funded Preschool Requirements:

  • Families must meet State Income Ceiling (see reverse side).
  • The child must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2016.
  • Families must live within the Oceanside Unified School District boundaries.

 Registration Requirements:

        Please submit an original and a copy of the following mandatory documents


  • Please submit the following documents:
  • Current proof of income (pay stubs for one month)
  • Proof of address (mortgage agreement, rental statement, or utility bill)
  • Certified Birth Certificate for child
  • Birth Certificates are required for children 18 years and younger in the family
  • Child’s up-to-date immunizations
  • Current negative TB test results for the child
  • Current negative TB test results for the parent/guardian (monthly participation)
  • Current child’s physical, not earlier than six months of start date (Feb. 15th, 2016)
