Developer Fees

NOTICE OF DEVELOPER FEE INCREASE - EFFECTIVE MARCH 18, 2013

 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the BOARD OF EDUCATION of the OCEANSIDE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, at its regularly scheduled meeting held on January 15, 2013, adopted a fee justification study and approved  the levy of increased statutory school fees on new residential and commercial/industrial development pursuant to Education Code Section 17620 and Government Code Section 65995.
 
 Effective March 18, 2013, developer fees for the Oceanside Unified School District will be collected at the statutory level as follows:
 
Residential - $3.20 per square foot of assessible area
 
Commercial/Industrial - $.51 per square foot
 
The attached form "Application for Payment of State School Developer Fees" must be completed by the City of Oceanside Building Department and the Applicant prior to submission to the District. Directions and additional information is provided on the second page (reverse side) of the form.
